The Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SCC) has opened the Call for Papers for podium presentation consideration during the 79th Annual Scientific Meeting & Showcase, December 15-17, 2025, at the Sheraton New York Times Square.

The SCC annual meeting is where 1,000+ subject matter experts, decision makers, suppliers, and R&D influencers gather for technical education sessions and networking opportunities. The showcase features more than 100 poster and tabletop exhibits showcasing new product innovations, raw materials, technologies, and student research making the annual meeting a must-attend event in the industry. 

“Our Committee on Scientific Affairs is developing another first-class technical education program to celebrate the organization’s 80th Anniversary,” said Erica O’Grady, CEO of the Society. “The annual meeting continues as a forum to showcase industry innovation and meaningful connections you just can’t get anywhere else,” she added. 

This year, SCC is seeking abstract submissions focused on the following topics:

• Hair Care 

• Diversity & Inclusion in Beauty 

• Sun Care/Sunscreens 

• Biotechnology & Green Chemistry 

• Claims, Testing, Substantiation 

• Emerging Trends 

• Color Cosmetics 

To be considered for podium presentation, interested parties should visit scconline.org/callforpapers and submit an abstract by 11:59pm ET on Monday, May 5, 2025.
